A blog on beautiful places, scrumptious food, culture of different countries and other interesting stuffs. xoxo ♥

Joven's Grill and Seafoods is an eat-all-you can- restaurant for only P189.00/ person this include unlimited drinks from juices to softdrinks.
A reasonable price for a lunch buffet and a band playing while you enjoy your meal.

Buffet Area
On the food warmer main course is placed and on the other side some fried, grilled and salads.
This area is where their sweets, fruits, juices and soft drinks placed

Pinoy Styled Dinning Area

Brownies and Puto
 Cakes and Pastries
Kilawin is a Philippine exotic delicacy in which the main ingredient is raw fish or meat marinated in vinegar, pepper, chili (preferably siling labuyo), chopped onions, and garlic and either cooked or served fresh without cooking. Other souring agents like calamansi juice may be used in place of vinegar.
The root word "kilaw" probably comes from the word hilaw, meaning "raw."

FRIED FOODS

This fried chicken is really good so “malami-an” (tasty) inside and out. They say that it was probably marinated in a lemon-lime soda that makes it flavorful.

Lumpiang shanghai, fried siomai, and a different fried chicken, an ordinary flavored one.

I'm happy that they serve Crispy Kangkong (River Spinach) with dresssing, this is one of my favorite pinoy food.
Kangkong a simple food but contains beta carotene, vitamin A, iron, phosphorus and thiamine.

is a salad consisting primarily of shredded raw cabbage. It may also include shredded carrots and other ingredients such as fruits and vegetables, apples, onions, green onions, peppers and various spices.
The term "coleslaw" arose in the 18th century as an Anglicisation of the Dutch term "koolsla", a shortening of "koolsalade", which means "cabbage salad".

The food in Joven's Grill and Seafoods is good but we are a little disappointed and saddened that they don't served more of the seafood and grilled foods which is their main dishes.
That's why my friend's tag line was I, "SEE FOODS!"

Before we get here, I thought arranging hotel reservation is really hard.  You will contact them thru their mails and never know if they would reply immediately. But here, they answer back day after to my mails and few queries was answered, our reservation was settled. They will give you their BDO account to deposit the initial payment and after that they will confirm your reservation.

Grand Tierra Suites I think was one of the best location I found to stay  since it is located in heart of Cebu. The staff is very welcoming and they always give us suggestions on what cab to ride and some destinations to visit while we are here.

Manong Guard ensures that  guests are safe in their suites.

Lounge Area and at the back is their Parking Area
Front Desk
Here you can see some brochures of services they offered like Body Massage, Package Tours and Fliers of some food chains in Cebu.

after you check in, you will automatically receive their complimentary snack from Cardinal Bakeshop - Cheese Roll and I'm not sure what they called it but it's like custard bread because it has mild-sweet taste on the outside and sweet filling in the inside.

I can say that these bread were really good and my co-staff ordered boxes of this.

We were assigned at Room 210 which is a family room good for 3 persons, maximum of 4 persons and our room was located on the farthest room on the left side of the hallway.
In the hallway you can also see water dispensers on both wings accessible for everyone's use.

and the room welcome us with these...
1 double bed topped by bath towels shaped in swans and 1 single bed.
Beds are covered with white, neat and clean bed sheets

well lit room with beautiful paintings on the wall

our room was furnished with amenities and fully equipped with hot and cold shower, air conditioning, telephone, WIFI connection and LCD TV

Grand Tierra also have dining services which offers variety of food. Our favorite here is their brewed coffee especially Café Latté.

I really recommend this Suite to all who’s looking for a place to stay in Cebu. A very reasonable rate for a convenient location, a good service, complete standard amenities, friendly staff, a comfortable and pleasant stay, think and consider this place!
